Spot customers can choose from policies with a $2,500 to $10,000 deductible. They can also select an annual deductible that is low or unlimited. Spot's prices for young pets tend to be higher than average

The prices for policies vary from $2,500 to $10,000. You have the option of choosing unlimited coverage, or an annual deductible depending on which plan is chosen. Spot allows you to submit claims online or via Spot’s app. The veterinary records should be submitted within 270 calendar days.

Spot's coverage does not depend on pre-existing conditions

Unlike most pet insurance plans, Spot's coverage does not exclude pre-existing conditions. The policy does not cover certain health conditions. However, the policy does not cover intervertebral dislocation, dental disease, or hip dysplasia. Additional exclusions include orthodontic and dental procedures, as well as expenses for daycare and boarding. The insurance policy does not cover cosmetic procedures, bilateral conditions, or any other treatment.

Spot's preexisting condition policy does not cover treatment for arthritis. A pre-existing condition is any condition that existed prior to the plan being issued by Spot. Unless the arthritis is already treated, the insurance company won't pay for it. The policy does not have a maximum age, but customers will need to pay a minimum $2,500 deductible in order to cover vet bills.
